I've finished reading the second book which is A thousand Splendid Suns. To me, it wasn't as powerful as The Kite Runner but still it's a moving story. Here's a Theatrical Trailer of the Kite Runner. Enjoy!

My family finally got a new apartment somewhere in Telok Blangah after so long waiting for HDB to revert to us. We moved in to the new apartment last night. It is so close to my workplace that I could even jog to work every morning.

Well, all these mean that I will need to pack up my stuffs at Bukit Batok where I'm currently staying and move my stuffs to Telok Blangah. Funny part is, the apatrment we've got is just by the Basketball court where Tom and I used to play soccer on Sunday morning.

It has been a tough ride this past few months, but as a Capricorn, I see it as a challenge and climb to a higher ground. I think it's about time I pull myself away for awhile from the people around me and just have a time by my own. A reflective moment, a form of meditation, relaxation, away from the busy life, away from thinking too much, away from trying to be there for others, away from any commitments, responsibility and all.. it can sound selfish but I've learnt that sometimes, you do need to be a little selfish for yourself in order for you to move on and feel better.

Helpless is what I'm feeling now... thing about me is I cant see or come to know that someone around me is having problems.. I would, no matter how try to be there and try to help however and whenever I can. I wouldnt care what that person might say or how that person pushes me away, I would still be there for them in one way or another. The least I would do is to just be there, not talking, just listening, or just leave the person alone to have their space until they're ready to talk or until it's over..whatever it is. That's a Capricornian's promise. Loyalty and selfless are bound to our nature. we could be sacrificial at times like the saying- I hurt myself in order to give you happiness- sort of thing.

I'm at work and discussing with Audrey about how true our Horoscopes are when it comes to describing our traits and flaws. I would like to believe that this is more to psychological point of perception. For example being a Capricorn, we tend to look forward towards a new year as the year end is near. We will start to plan ahead, have goals, resolutions, etc..

Anyways, enough about Zodiac signs, tonight I'll be having dinner with my cousin's and our childhood friends way back since we we're in primary school!! Last Friday I had to miss out for a dinner with my batch of 1999. So I wouldn't want to miss out this one. Next week would be another with another bunch of friends. I'm still looking forward to go Geylang Serai with her..but when?? Only time will tell...
